Novetex has developed and expanded its operations over the last three decades to become one of the world's largest single site spinners.
Our achievements from 1975 to present day:
 
1975

• Macau Textile Limited was founded as wholly owned subsidiary by Novel Group to produce yarn and knitwear for export.

1976

• Woolmark & Woolmark Blend Certified manufacturer.
• Novetex Spinners Ltd was established to market and promote yarn produced by Macau Textile Limited.

1979

• Novel Group acquired 50,000 square feet of premises as a warehouse facility and sets up Kwok Kent Limited as a subsidiary to provide warehousing to Group members.

1988

• To satisfy market demand, the Novel Group acquired 10,800 square metres as factory space in the Nan Pan Industrial Zone.

1990

• Dyeing mill in Zhuhai Tong Ga acquired.
• First stock service shade card collection launched.

1992-94

• An additional 2 spinning mills set up in Hungwan village and Sanzao, Zhuhai for total 29,500 square metres.

1997

• ISO9001 or ISO9002 Certified

2002

• In order to centralise operations, our 3 spinning mills and 2 dyeing mills are consolidated to Nanshui Industrial Zone.
• Zhuhai Lewaunion Wool Washing & Carbonization Company Limited Incorporated.

2003

• Novetex has been separated from Macau Textile Limited as an entity named Novetex Woollen Spinners (Macau) Ltd., specializing in spinning and dyeing production.

2004

• Oeko-Tex Certified.
• Semi-worsted spinning operation started.

2007

• Semi-worsted spinning operation was expanded, production capacity increased to 2 million pounds.

2008

• DWI Certified.
• EKO Organic Spinner Certified.

2010

• GRS Certified.

2012

• Green House Gas Verification by BSI
